As common as money ?

"Oh, I haven't dealt in anything as common as money for years." - says Finnick in Book 'The cathing fire'.  If I forget about the context... there is something about this line that it keeps coming to my mind.

Can we be like this? I think - yes. but only when we are ridiculously rich or we have something *so important* in our lives that we dont care about money. But then that also requires a minimum amount of money. And its good if that *so important* is something good, because something bad can also keep us engaged!
