Anekantvad

The concept of Anekantvad (and intellectual ahimsa) in Jainism is one of the most beautiful concepts I ever came through.

wiki says -  "It refers to the principles of pluralism and multiplicity of viewpoints, the notion that truth and reality are perceived differently from diverse points of view, and that no single point of view is the complete truth."

We never see whole of reality and truth which is multidimensional and multifaceted. Truth is relative to our point of views. It is incomplete and partial and It is impossible for us to know the absolute or complete truth. What we see is truth but only partial and incomplete.. what others see is also truth but can be different from we see.

Read it yourselves :) here and here.
