The book of Mormon - the musical

Saturday evening I went to this Broadway show. And it was what I expected... funny and awesome ! This is exactly what I expected from guys behind south park Trey Parker and Matt Stone.

The story of two Mormon missionaries sent to Uganda. At places it looks like a South Park episode. If you enjoy South Park and don't mind (harsh) satire about religion then it's flawless. I paid $142, which is too expensive for a show but I had no choice because... someone else bought tickets and I came to know only after they were bought. :) But it was worth it ! There are moments in the show which will keep you laughing even after the show e.g. Hasa Diga Eabowai !

PS: (8 years later): when I tell people that I watched the book of mormon only for $142, no one believes me ! It went out to break many records and tickets soaring to thousands of dollars !
