Random conversations -

Part 1:

Do you recognize this (an equation)?

Riemann Zeta?

Yeah, so you know what to do to make a million dollars.

Naa ! I don't think thats a good idea. There are many much easier and certain ways to make million dollars, if that's what you want to do. You don't do maths for million dollars. Plus you may make a million dollars but mathematics will lose. Your research and hunger for knowledge will end with that.

Wait ! but why will Mathematics lose? will not it be one of the greatest things that ever happened to maths?

Not really ! It will be solved, so there will not be any motivation to do any research ! You know how much maths was developed to solve Fermat's last theorem? The greatest things to maths happened when it was unsolved. Now it is Navier-Stokes, Riemann hypothesis and other problems. Once it get solved a whole branch of research, motivation and findings will stop right there.

hmm... make sense !

Part 2: (few days later)

Why Krishna is always with Radha and never with his wives? [while entering a temple]

There can be many explanations but... do you remember our conversation about open math problems another day? Radha is like an unsolved problem. Truth but unproven. mystical... she is not a celebrated end. She is ongoing, forever, continuous. Once solved - Love will lose. The literature of love will lose... Think about that conversation, it will make sense. :)
