Love triangle

I was reading something last night and this unusual thought came to my mind. It goes like this:

Assuming only 'straight' lines form a triangle. By basic theorem of inequality of sides a love triangle is not possible ! :)

As per theorem combined love between any two pairs should be greater than the third pair but given three straight members... it leads to a Contradiction !

The general form will be like this: To form a convex love polygon the members with interconnected relationships should be even.

Note that this holds only in case of convex polygons which are formed only using straight lines ;)
