With all due respect, it’s true that some social scientists generally come up with a theory and then ask statisticians to provide a model that will support their view statistically. Some people around us always work in that way… They conclude first and then look out for arguments to support their views to make it logically sound.
PS: BTW, Wikipedia has somewhat ‘real’ definition to term “with all due respect”. I swear to god I didn’t mean that: P
